The child bent down and peeked under the bed…
Oh! Not a monster… but a rainbow!
Colors danced and swirled — red, blue, yellow, green!
The child twirled with joy, rainbow light spinning all around.
But wait! The rainbow was fading fast…
Quick! A goodbye hug to Teddy under the rainbow glow.
The rainbow slipped back under the bed… and was gone.
The child climbed back into bed, heart glowing bright.
Sometimes, what we fear at first… can be the brightest surprise of all.
