Easy Movement Activity for Toddlers
Turn the song into an interactive movement activity by inviting children to follow each action in the lyrics. They can pretend to pack and zip a school bag, clap their hands, tap their knees, march in place, count their steps, wave hello, and skip gently around the room. During the bridge, encourage them to turn around, touch the ground, stretch their hands up high, touch their toes, wiggle, and jump while shouting “Hooray!” These simple movements support balance, coordination, rhythm, body awareness, listening, and gross motor development.
